It is greta honour being awarded this blogger award and thank you for reading.

It is great honour being awarded this blogger award and thank you for reading.

Samantha’s Gluten Free Food Spot has won a blogging award.

The Versatile Blogger Award is about recognising the talents of those who bring something special to others lives through blogging.

Samantha’s Gluten Free Food Spot was set up two years ago and has been a great experience and a huge learning curve. One of the many reasons  that I set up the blog was to show the world that it is possible to make great tasting gluten free food yourself.

I want to share with people my passion for cooking and baking. Making food from scratch can be very rewarding, especially when people have food allergies. I hope that I have shown my readers that  it is possible to recreate some of your favourite foods using alternative ingredients.

It is a great honour to win this award and a big thank you to fellow blogger Pen of the Sheep who nominated me. Make sure you go and check out their blog for some great reads.

I know that I have managed to inspire people to cook and experiment gluten free food through the recipes that I share. I love reading comments from followers and taking the time to reply and listen to them is very important. Without readers Samantha’s Gluten Free Food Spot would be a redundant website. I am constantly researching new ideas for recipes and I love to hear from my readers with their feedback. I have a huge note-book full of ideas and I can’t wait to share them with you all in the future.

My other passion is locally produced food. I live in Lincolnshire, England, and I would argue that this county grows some of the finest ingredients and is the home to some wonderful producers. I support as many local producers as I can as I know how important it is for us to celebrate their food. If you can buy local go and do it. The High Street has changed so much in the past 20 years, but buying local is worth it and I think that some of the products taste great. When you are next in your local town or village have a look around the famers market and talk to the venders as I know they have a story behind a lot of their products.

Anyone can be nominated for a  Versatile Blogger Award and you can go and check out the website on how to nominate fellow bloggers.
