A Lincolnshire publisher is putting together a charity cookbook that will feature recipes from around the county.

DPS Printing will donate all profits from the book to a unique organisation to Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service,  or more commonly known as LIVES.

LIVES is made up of medical professionals and volunteers who have been trained to be first responders in their community. Lincolnshire is a vast and rural county and the first responder is able to reach people who have called 999 within six minutes of that call being made.

The book will be out in time for Christmas and will cost £7.50. Several restaurants, cafes and chefs from across the county have already contributed to the book, but they need more recipes.

The book will not only be a cookbook, but will also double up as an eating out guide for Lincolnshire and will include a fold out map at the back of the book.

For more information and if you want to contribute you can contact Chris from DPS Printing on twitter @ChrisFromDPS.

The book will be available from some foodie venues around Lincolnshire and will be sold at a number of LIVES events.

I spoke to Stephen Hyde from the charity LIVES and Chris Strawson from DPS Printing about the book and to find out more about what LIVES is and their culinary adventure.
