Valentine Warner is back and this time he is cooking he way through all of the seasons in Scandinavia.

He is well known by many food fans for being an adventurous cook and educating viewers about the seasonality of food as well as how to cook it.

In Valentines new series, Valentine Warner Eats Scandinavia on Good Food, viewers will see how a challenging climate influences what the local people eat and cook. The seasons in Scandinavia influences not only the type of food they eat, but it also plays a huge part in their culture. Valentine described the places that he visited as ‘magical.’

The series starts on September 16th at 8pm. Throughout the ten episodes, you can not only learn about the food from Scandinavia, but you also get to join Valentine on his many adventures across this remote part of Europe.

In freezing cold temperatures in Sweden Valentine learns the art of ice fishing and in the interview below he talks about the orange bellied trout he caught as well as some of the other seasonal food that features on restaurant menus.

Valentine talks to myself and Siren FM’s Food for Thought presenter, Charlotte Reid, about the series and some of the food he tasted and cooked as well as some of the best music to cook too!
